If you’ve been following along you know we are no stranger to a little bit of trivia action with all different types of pass. You know I mean we’ve asked a question such as how long can we. Kind of rats swim or how they eat or let’s say if you threw a rat in a swimming pool how long could alive before it drowns. You know I mean they answer was like three days you know something unreal.
Right. How long can that cockroach live without ahead? And how many dust mites might be on your bed or a square yard or a carpet? How many eggs a bed bug lays or how often that book lays eggs and fleas. How high can the job protect optics?
You take springs all sorts of diseases. But anyway the point is is that we’re going to ask questions we’re going to be a form of.

We talked about ants I mean I don’t know if you recall if you listen to the podcast we asked well species of hands how many different species that are all there are hands all around the world. And the answer to that question is twelve thousand. All right.
There are about 12000 different species of plants around the world now. In Oklahoma, we have quite a few species of the ants as well but the ones the majority of people deal with over here in Oklahoma here in the Tulsa area seem to compliment and seem to be over scenes yes a different type of ants over here. But those seem to be the majority of the ants that people deal with. They’re usually playing ball in that. And that are annoying people maybe in their cereal or maybe getting in their food or maybe just around their kids. You know they go to you know to go to Dusen dishes and they’re just ants crawling all over the counter. Maybe your kids you know leave a little food out or a little drink now this nice sweet sugars and then they go so often that that’s what’s happening.
And we get calls on that obviously because people do not want ants hanging around their food or hanging around their kids or hanging around their family. Now. There are different ways to eradicate ants. I mean get it with you know with. With
some liquid treatments, Bates is another thing and different times of the years different time and we on on on different things for instance. Yes, sometimes the year that they might be more protein feeding. What was the protein in getting on that? Other times it might be more sugar-related.
And so and so it’s important to know what time of year and what type of Bate’s what type treatments to use to Radtke those and so the thing is though I mean I guess really the important thing is you don’t have to know everything there is no about AIDS right.
There’s really no requirement for you as a homeowner to have that knowledge. But what you do need to know how to do is you do know how to turn on a computer. Go to Google. If you haven’t heard of Google’s search engine that that really runs the world go to Google. And but yeah. So let’s do this. Also if you are if you’re just in your house or yard all of a sudden you see two ants going at it and battling it out. Don’t waste any time.

If you are aware corporate ants are actually a wood destroying insect. So they actually destroy one. So let’s say termites for instance termites will eat wood.

Kind of shave that wood out or hollow that would out and they’ll actually use it as their structure. Right. So they build their nests actually inside the wood. I mean this is evidence you know we see it all the time. Oftentimes wraps around windowsills around doors that could be anywhere but ofttimes around window seals will see some wood shavings. Right. And that’s actually from corporations they’ll get behind the walls and though they’ll haul the wood back there and they’ll use as their structure provides them you know great houses. You know as long as it’s not your house right. But if it is your house, Tolles, if you’re seeing wood shavings around your home.
