So we’ve been talking a lot about all sorts of different past. We have been having a lot of trivia about roaches and earwigs and all sorts of insects. Hey, fun fact coming at you today.
I was doing a home inspection. Home Inspector told me that his wife had a patient come in and apparently this patient had a brown recluse that had climbed inside her ear. Let’s think about that a brown recluse climbing in somebody’s ear. Luckily they were able to get it out without the brown recluse biting her. But if you can think about how much damage that would be caused if the brown recluse would have bitten her inside the ear. Disgusting. Don’t you want to think about it? That’s three times a day and then after lunch, I usually don’t eat anything until probably dinner time. So it’s four times a day and then read before but I don’t know I might have a little dessert if I get that hankering that craving for a little sugar. I just might grab me some dessert. So humans were looking now. I don’t know at least. Me four or five times a day maybe you’re different. Maybe you only three times a day maybe twice a day may be just working so much with your employer has you working so much that you don’t even have time to take lunch which I hope is not the case. I hope I hope I also hope you’re staying healthy and eating what you need to eat. But that’s us humans right. We’ll take a guess about how many times mice eat a day. OK. Now think about their small creatures. They live in a relatively small area.
But how many times a day do you think. Is it one time today. Is it five times a day. Is it 10 times a day. Is it six times a day when do you think.
Well, the answers coming out strong it might be surprising to some of you. Mice will actually eat between 15 and 20 times a day. Yes, you heard that correctly mice will eat anywhere between 15 and 20 times a day. So if you think about that. Right. If a mouse is eating between 15 and 20 times a day. That’s a lot of food. Isn’t it. OK. Where are they getting this food? Well, they’re living inside your home. They’re getting their food from you from your pantry from the crumbs that you leave behind. OK.
